Currently the following pixel

types are supported:

If you have a pixel you would like to add that is not listed, please contact the TicketWeb team and we’ll see what we can do.

Please note – to maintain a high standard of security and safeguard your data, TicketWeb is unable to support adding tag container pixels and code.

FACEBOOK

To begin, set up an account on Facebook – see Facebook’s reference pages for more information.

Once you’ve set up your pixel, you can choose the option to “Email Instructions to a Developer” and you’ll see the Pixel ID located as shown to the right.

Copy this code.

1. Click the Marketing tab in your Backline account

2. Click Pixels

3. Click Add

4. Select Facebook

Paste the ID you copied from Facebook into the Facebook Pixel ID field. If you’ll be adding multiple pixels, you can change the default description to make it easier to identify each pixel.

This section also allows the removing and editing of your pixels.

Once the pixel has been added, Facebook should recognise that it has received data.

Note – Facebook can take up to 12 hours to process and show data in reports.

If you do not see page view or purchase data please wait until at least 12 hours have passed before contacting the TicketWeb team for help.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

If you have not previously set up a Google Analytics account, see Google’s help pages for more information:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008015?hl=en

Once your account has been set up, you’ll need to get the tracking ID.

If you’ve previously set up your analytics account you should be able to find this ID under the Admin settings in the Property section item Tracking Info.

1. Click the Marketing tab in your Backline account

2. Click Pixels

3. Click Add

4. Select Google Analytics

Paste the ID you copied from Google into the Google Analytics Account ID field.
If you’ll be adding multiple pixels, you can change the default description to make it easier to identify each pixel.

This section also allows the removing and editing of your pixels.

Once the pixel has been added, Google Analytics should begin to receive data. Google will show the following:

• Event Detail Page visits

• Ticket sale conversions with amount of purchase

Note – while Google offers a few “Real Time” reports, many reports will take at least a few hours before showing data. Please ensure that you’ve waited for Google to process data before contacting TicketWeb for assistance.
